Posted on: Friday , 09 Dec 2022Sunworks has been great tending to a couple of issues my solar system has been having lately. Their support staff is very responsive to my emails, especially Heather! She called after the service appointment to make sure everything went well or if there was anything further Sunworks can do to help. Now that is customer service! Their technicians are very knowledgeable and very professional. I am very happy with Sunworks and thank you Heather again for the extra effort in making sure the customer is satisfied!

Posted on: Monday , 12 Sep 2022SCE gave me problem after problem constantly, with little changes, questions about my solar system installed and approved by them since 2009, all this because I am installing the Tesla battery backup, it was exasperating because you find it next to impossible to speak with anyone there. Thanks to Laurie Schaffer, she pitched in and handled all my problems, personally contacted me with updates and after months of problems I think we finally got final approval this week, very happy with your company, especially Laurie

Posted on: Wednesday , 03 Aug 2022Sunworks installed my 10 panel system in Nov-dec 2018. Getting the ok to turn on had a little delay with PGE but installers were quick and neat and one day here and gone. No issues. About 2 yrs in my app showed a panel doing zero-- I kept leaving messages for Jay. After a couple weeks i called the main number and got healped quickly (Jay no linger works there.) An optimizer was out- quick replacement, no cost. Jan 2022 my app was showing zero. Rebooted the inverter but nothing. Turns out the inverter had gone bad, they said I did well to get 4 full years out if it. Again no cost, the only bummer was waiting 6 weeks for it to arrive.

Posted on: Monday , 26 Jul 2021Sunworks recently installed a Tesla powerwall battery storage system for my residential solar system. The system is working smoothly and has enabled me to be essentially self-reliant for my electric needs. During the initial planning process, communication was not as efficient as I would prefer, but Dan Dawkins then took the project lead and things progressed more efficiently. The end result is great. Dan navigated the SGIP rebate process successfully.

Posted on: Thursday , 31 Dec 2020I have to update my negative review because the solar has been working very well and bills are usually $0 through the summer months and occasionally $9.00 per month if it isn't sunny. Also if the power goes out the battery works great and fridge, freezer some lights and electric sockets power on after only a few seconds using the battery power. The system would be perfect if we could still have water too but this is not possible because the pump is not compatible with the battery because it is 40 amps instead of 30. This is not Sunworks fault though For water the portable generator is necessary when the power goes out.

Posted on: Tuesday , 06 Oct 2020We had solar panels with Powerwall installed at our place in the foothills. Sunworks was able to design a plan that would maximize energy generation, even with all our trees. We liked it so much, we added more panels and a second Powerwall. BTW, that second battery had a long waitlist with other companies, but Sunworks had one ready for us and installed within a couple months! They also handled most of the SGIP rebate process - which can be very long. They helped us through some initial hiccups with the Powerwall, everything was quickly addressed and has been working great. Power outages are not a problem for us, it switches seemlessly to our battery that is charged throughout the day with the solar panels. We've seen a big savings in our electric bill as well. Quality service and products - I recommend them.

Posted on: Friday , 13 Mar 2020Sunworks recently installed a Tesla Power Wall system as a backup to our solar panels. The Power Wall is now three weeks old and performing to our expectations. We believed the Power Wall was superior to a generator for the simple fact of NO maintenance. The solar panels and batteries literally minimizes our reliance on the grid which, was what we're seeking.

After reviewing 4 competitive bids,I chose Sunworks because their salesperson was extremely engaged, informed and flexible. He helped us identify local financing for our system, facilitated the loan application, and drove rapid installation of our 5.7 kw system (5 weeks from date our deal was signed until installers arrived to take down my 14 year-old system and install all new racking, inverter and panels in 6 hours!

Posted on: Thursday , 21 Apr 2016We interviewed 5 different solar companies and decided to go with Sunworks due to the high quality equipment and the comprehensive 25 year warranty. Within a few days of us signing the contract, the engineer came out to do the site inspection. We had drawings to approve within a week and two weeks later the crew was out installing the system. The crew was very professional and friendly. They were very careful to not damage anything around the house and did a beautiful job routing the conduit so that it was not too noticeable. I have worked with contractors and construction my whole life and this team was one of the most impressive I have ever encountered. Would highly recommend them!

When a sales person comes out to your house and gives you a price and also offers different financing solutions you should be able to take them at their word. So when their sales person gave us the price and financing numbers I called back a couple days later and told the sales person that I was ready to do the deal. Instantly he told me that the financing would not work because work we would not be borrowing enough. Didn't he know that when he told us about it? I gave him another chance because he said he had other financing things we could do. I told him that the monthly cost better not go up or we would not do the deal. The next day I received an email with the new terms. While the monthly "cost" went down, it went from a 15 year note to a 20 year note and the price went up $2000 because we had "fees" to pay for now. So to all you sales people out there, if you want to sell the job, don't do the old bait and switch thing.

Posted on: Wednesday , 30 Mar 2016The initial process went fairly smooth. Sunworks was vary quick to respond to my questions and complete the installation. The installation was completed in a day. The crew was friendly and competent. Unfortunately they did leave a mess of insulation in my home that had fallen from the Attic. That's unfortunately when the customer service stopped. I have been attempting to nail down my inspection and enrolment in the net metering program for over 5 weeks now. I kept getting the same story about operations calling me back with all my answers from Scott Feuerherm. The responses were a little slow at first. Now he appears to stop responding all together. It's been 5 days since I last made contact and have had no response. At this point I am happy to return the 20k system and deal with someone who gives a crap about completing the contract. Just because they have received a check doesn't mean the job is complete. Get your act together sunworks.

Posted on: Wednesday , 15 Jul 2015SUNworks was a great experience for our family. We decided to go with them after comparing them with several competitors. (And I have to say, their quote was FAR more reasonable than at least one of their top competitors, so be sure to do your due diligence!) From the sales process all the way to the team of experienced install technicians, (who installed my 6 kilowatt system in just a few hours) we thought the team was extremely knowledgeable and professional. It's been six months since our install, and I've been tracking the data and comparing it to the ROI estimates from their sales team. Somewhat to my surprise, (since I know how sales teams operate) their estimates were VERY on-target. Highly recommended!

Posted on: Sunday , 24 Aug 2014We contracted SUNworks after competitive bidding with 2 other solar companies. These guys were extremely thorough and professional. Excellent customer service. Whatever they promised, they did in less time, for lower cost than they originally quoted. I feel more than comfortable recommending them to prospective PV owners.
