  The experience with Sunline was smooth and it moved quickly. Chris Brown was recommended by our neighbor, and soon we were being educated on the options, the technology differentiators and financing. Shortly after we signed, our project manager Iris kept us informed of the process and answered all of our questions promptly. Our Solar installation was performed flawlessly by Team 4 with Troy, Da, Mario, and Albert. Quickly thereafter we were inspected and everything was just about ready to go

  I heard about Sunline Energy from multiple colleagues who had nothing but great things to say about their experiences with them. Everything I heard turned out to be 100% true! From consultation to installation to flicking the "ON" switch, the Sunline experience was incredibly smooth and pain free. Our process started in February 2022 and ended in April. Eric was my initial consultant. He was prompt, courteous, and explained all the options for our home in detail. He was not pushy or aggressive with sales tactics and was happy to leave and let me mull over the options at my own pace. After signing our contract, the entire process was laid out from start to finish, and everything happened on time as predicted. I have happily recommended this company to multiple friends and colleagues who have since used them for their solar needs as well and have provided nothing but positive feedback.

They of course went above and beyond and exceeded all my expectations. Even dealing with challenging contractors and unrealistic time lines they made it work.   My wife and I want to thank Brian, Luis, Tony and Cirilu ( Sunline Roof Crew # 2 ) for the GREAT JOB you guys did on our newly completed roof section which will now enable us to install 11 solar panels on our home! We had given up on solar installation until our neighbors and good friends, Joe and Marian, had Sunline do their solar system and had nothing but super things to say about their experience. Judy and I have had the same great experience with Sunline! Crew #2 were friendly and happy to explain the process.   These guys were absolutely as professional as they can get! They kept me updated throughout the entire process of obtaining permits, inspections, installation, and getting on the grid. One of their workers always got back to me the same day when I had questions. Since my roof was somewhat old, I had them complete my roofing as well during the same project. Their team did a stand-up job, and their quotes were competitive with other offers that I received. They were always responsive with my concerns. The only issue I had was that they were backed up by several months to get my project started, which meant one more summer of paying high electricity bills before the solar was installed. I'm not sure I can even blame Sunline, as I'm not sure how much of that was just holdup from the permit process. Overall, great experience with Sunline. Would use them again a hundred times over.

  We were really happy with the work and service level we got from sunline. We did a lot of research on solar companies and have been in touch with around 10 other companies and at the end, we choose to go with sunline because they had the best quality solar panels and the service was great. We also upgrade our electrical panel board so it was quite an extensive work. Matt was really great in explaining all the options and was quick to respond with any questions. All the installation team did a great job as well (specifically Manny and team #5 who did the installation). The only reason I'm not giving a 5-star review is because we did have some hold up with get the city approval and we feel like suniline were not aggressive enough in solving the problems. Also, we did end up settling on different panels than the ones we initially wanted because the ones we wanted were out of stock but sunline did provide other alternatives quite quickly.

  We had our solar and roofing done by Sunline, and we are very happy. We ran into a few issues, as is often common with such big jobs, but everyone on the Sunline team was professional and helpful, making sure we were happy. Jordan, Iris, and Riley are wonderful. And Miguel and his Roof 1 team were especially great, taking care of details that needed attention. We highly recommend them!

  I have been impressed with Sunline Energy from start to finish. I set up an appointment for an estimate and Matthew sat down with me in June and went over all options. He was knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and questions. I signed a contract and made a deposit. Liz was the project manager who made sure everything was scheduled, including surveys installation and inspection. Liz scheduled us for installation in August but got our project going even earlier when an unexpected vacancy came up on Sunline's installation schedule. Mike was the final person who brought the project to final completion ahead of schedule. There was an unexpected glitch in the San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) inspection and approval process. Mike not only got everything corrected, but he also got the final permission to operate our Solar Power System from San Diego Gas & Electric days earlier than expected! I tried to work with a different Solar Power Company before turning to Sunline. The other company quoted a higher price for fewer solar panels and warned about probable added expenses once the project was in progress. I signed a contract, put down a deposit, and then that company stopped answering my emails, texts, and phone calls. I fired them and got my deposit back. That was a blessing in disguise. Sunline installed more solar panels for a significantly lower price than quoted by the other company. Sunline always answered all my communications quickly. There were no unexpected expenses. The price quoted stayed the same from start to finish. I am incredibly pleased with Sunline Energy. Months later the system is working fine and saving me a lot of money!

  We did substantial research before deciding on Sunline, including inviting multiple bids. In sum, Sunline provided the best price, and their roof guarantee (we had them do the roof as well) was by far superior to everyone else's. Eric Gerza was our salesperson, and he was excellent. There were two small glitches that were taken care of immediately. First, the panels I ordered originally were no longer available by installation time, thanks to supply chain issues. They were replaced with a slightly less powerful panel, and they made up the difference by adding two more. In the end, I got a slightly more powerful system, and at the same price. Second, there was a software problem with reporting that made it seem I wasn't generating enough power. After I called to report it, Eric called me back quickly to say that it was resolved, and indeed, it was. So all told, I strongly recommend Sunline. Great service, nice people, low prices. What more can you want?

  Team 5 did the installation for our solar power supply. These guys were fantastic. Every step was explained in detail; they were very pleasant, efficient and always smiling; their customer service was top notch; and upon departure they left our place very clean.

Everyone from Amber our Sales Rep, the install crew and Mike Daly, Service Manager, were great to work with!! Their attention to detail and follow through were excellent!   Sunline employees went above and beyond, not only was their work efficient and neat, they were incredibly polite, professional and excellent communicators. We had a pre-existing electrical problem they spent two days trying to help us fix, and did not charge us for it. Who does that anymore? Sunline did both our solar3 yrs. ago and battery back up. Solar works perfectly and I hope I never need to use the back up, but I'm covered. Recommend without reservation.

  After several years of trying to find a solid solar contractor (we interviewed over 8), and with two failed starts with other contractors that overpromised, we were truly grateful to find Sunline Energy. Wow. What a difference - from the initial of Devon Wiltbank with his detailed, no-pressure, informative sales call, to Jacob Smith and his installation crew. We can't say enough on how impressed we were with every single Sunline employee we came in contact with. Whether over the phone or in person, we experienced nothing but professionalism and courtesy. As managers, we know how difficult it is to maintain that type of across-the-board consistency. We had a full re-rooofing job with 29 solar panels installed as well as a Solatube and additional electrical work to accommodate a future electric vehicle. The crew was very respectful, always on time and cleaned up after each day. We remember reading Sunline reviews on Yelp and thinking it was too good to be true - how could a company receive so many 5-star reviews? We are here as a testament that Sunline energy is a one-stop company for roofing and solar.

  Sunline performed not only a solar energy system install on our home, but also a total roof replacement. I was bracing for a pile of headaches during the process and was astonished at how smooth, communicative and efficient they were. Great teamwork, attitude, attention to detail etc. I'm OCD fixated on the details and they simply killed it. Can't recommend highly enough for solar as well as the crews they use for roofing! Devin was incredibly patient and knowledgable fielding all my questions about the system and overall process. Five Stars well earned!

  Sunline did our new roof, 41 solar panels and 3 Tesla Powerwalls. The process was super smooth from the quote stage all the way through install and finally all the paper work they did for the SDGE transfer and rebates you get from the government. USE THESE GUYS. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!

  My solar was installed 2 weeks ago, working great! Highly recommend Sunline Energy. If you are thinking about it have them come out. No pressure just information and a professional proposal. You can buy outright or they can hook you up with a lender and you can pay it off over 10 - 15 years. My system will pay for itself with the savings in 5 - 6 years. Then free electricity! 25 year warranty. Tell them i referred you when you call ;)

  I can't say enough good things about Sunline. Highly professional, friendly, attentive and accessible. I got three quotes; theirs was the best for the quality panels I ultimately chose. My initial meeting with Matthew was low key, friendly and not the sales pitch I expected. Matthew took the time to carefully listen to my needs and then thoroughly explained all my options. I was never pushed in any direction but given enough information to make my own decision with his expert advice and suggestions. We had minimal solar panel needs but I was never made to feel that I wasn't as important as customers buying a large system. Once I'd decided to go ahead, various staff took the time to ensure I was consistently updated on progress - important with the full rebate finishing on December 31st (I believe it drops a few percent on 1/1/20) but Sunline assured me they would meet the difference if something delayed my installation - something the other two companies didn't offer. Everything went so smoothly and I didn't have to do a thing other than open the garage on a couple of occasions for inspections. EVERYTHING was taken care of for me! They are a high-tech company, providing me with scanned pdfs along the way, a USB drive at the end containing every document and allowing for super easy on-line payments as the installation process progressed as well as links to various useful websites. They also sent out another staff member last week to go over the on-line monitoring system with me, explain the new solar boxes and answer any questions I had. He offered to check on a rebate I have for the panels I chose and said he would send me the tax documents I needed. An email providing both was immediately forthcoming. I'm so happy with Sunline and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

  After a long process, we picked Sunline Energy to install our solar power system. We are extremely happy with the choice. As of 10/19/18, we are up and running. We are also celebrating the best experience we have ever had with a contracted home improvement project. The planning decisions and scheduling were considerate of our personal needs and desires.   We just passed the 4 year anniversary of the installation/activation of our solar array (12 panels with 12 microinverters). Back in 2014 they (Gerry) gave us a very fair price, installation was quick and professional. Fast forward to 2018, their estimate on our energy production turned out to be very accurate. We’ve had zero issues with our panels, including the monitoring Envoy system. We highly recommend.

  Incredibly satisfied with the service from Sunline. Once Gerry came out for the initial consultation and I gave the project the go ahead, I didn't have to do anything else! Kelli and Nick planned with SDG&E and all other companies involved. It was great and painless! I would recommend anyone go with them, they are knowledgeable, polite, and professional. Gerry even came out after the job was done to do one final walkthrough and provide me with a binder with all the information I needed about my new solar system. 5 star service!

  We did a LOT of research before contacting Sunline Energy. They are extremely customer focused; Sunline was quick to respond to any questions or issues we brought up, and provided very informative responses. Where Sunline really stands out in this saturated market is how out of the way they go to make you feel like an important customer. So many companies have canned responses but this company spends as much time with you as needed to make sure you have all your questions and concerns answered. They do not apply pressure or hard sell; they are just genuinely excited about solar, have very competitive rates, great customer service, and wonderful products.

  I purchased solar with Sunline Energy more then two years ago and my investment is paying off even quicker than I was originally quoted. The team at Sunline has always been professional and courteous and most importantly they have always honored their work. During the first visit I was pleasantly surprised by the honesty I got from my estimator. Sunline recommended a system more than 1.5kW smaller than what the other company recommended, I had no idea how far off my, my expectations of what I needed vs what I thought I needed were.
