  Just finished installing a PV solar system with Steiner Solar. Overall I am very happy with the communication from Steve, craftsmanship from Mike and Drew, and now being able to generate our own electricity. I appreciate Steve getting inspection and PGE paperwork done so quickly after install so we could get our permission to operate notification ASAP. As with all things Construction, be sure to be patient. If you're debating between a big box installer or Steiner, I highly recommend Steiner Solar.

  Steiner was recommended by my pool repair person, John Craft. Called once in November 2021 and Steve was going to come look at my solar, I actually spoke with a lady and she said he was going to call me. Never heard from him. Called Steiner on March 4, 2022 and spoke with Steve, he promised to come look at my solar and he said he would not flake this time. Never heard from him. I guess they are too busy. Oh well.

  We were replacing our roof and decided to go with a stone covered metal roof which was a fairly new product at the time. Since we were replacing our old shake roof we looked into adding electric solar as well as replacing our pool solar at the same time. Some places would not install the solar system on the new roof. Others would do one system or the other but not both and others were high pressure sales but not Steve. Steiner's worked with the roofer and took care of all the coordination with the roofer and SMUD. Steve gave us a fair price and his service before as well as after the sale has been flawless. I would highly recommend them.

  The owner of the company measured the amount of shade on all areas of our roof. He gave me estimates for several different configurations of solar panels. He was very courteous and professional and did not pressure me to sign a contract.

  Inverter was showing an error that called for a replacement. SolarEdge provided a free inverter under warranty. It took Solaredge about 1 week to get a new inverterer delivered to Steiner.

  I've got to add my opinion here to about Steiner Solar. Things I loved... * Small family business * No pressure to buy * We wanted the cash option. * We wanted a different inverter. They got it for us (SolarEdge Wave HD with EV charger + Monitoring System) * Process was smooth * Install was very fast, they were clean and had it running without issues. * Steve got all the paperwork done (permit, PG&E) done quick. * Nicely painted all the pipes in the garage and on the side of the house.

  Steve is our favorite Solar Guy! I attended the SMUD seminar and learned so much on solar systems for our home. Most importantly, pricing. We invited 4 companies for bidding. 2 were high pressures sales presentation, 1 didn't care and there's Steiner Solar and the 3 were all forgotten. Steve is very straight forward, no pressure and most of all gave us his honest opinion on what we need. He installed solar for our home and pool. We are very happy with the cost, reliability and knowing that we are using clean energy power. Steve the owner is honest and gives 5-star customer service! I will highly recommend him to anyone.   After meeting with a few other big name solar venders, my husband and I met with Steve and easily and immediately decided to go with him and his team to buy solar panels for our home. He kept us abreast of any updates or delays with permits, etc and was always available to answer any of our questions. His team was professional and kind (put up with my annoying, barking dogs while they were at our home setting up!) and put up our panels in just three days.   I did a lot of research on pool solar heating for about a month and received several bids. At the end of the day I went with Steiner's Solar company and I'm so glad I did! The owner Steve personally came over to meet with me to give me a quote. The job was done with great workmanship, needless to say I'm incredibly happy with having them do the install. With a purchase of this amount, sometimes one can have buyers remorse, well not the case with this purchase. Our family is connecting in a greater way than before because we all love swimming in warm (or should I say hot) water.

  I must say, this is the first time calling Stiners solar company the young lady that talked to me on the phone was very honest . Most companies just sell you there product and don't listen to you.I will be using them once my electric bill comes in.   I had Steiner's Solar Service install our solar pool as well as solar electric. We got the solar pool first, and asked Steve to plan out the panel placement for the solar electric in the event we decided to get solar electric. We got the solar pool a few years ago, and the kids get to enjoy a warm pool from April to September. Last year, we decided to buy a solar system. We got several quotes, and went with Steiner's because their prices were competitive, we trusted Steve, and because they are a local company. Just as Steve projected for us, we are on track to break even in 5 years, and every dollar of electricity generated from that point will be profit for us.

  Purchased both a Solar electric system and pool solar through Steiner Solar. The owner Steve was terrific. Got three other quotes and his was the best. Outstanding customer service and a quality product. Steve went above and beyond my expectations. No high pressure sales tactics. He even fixed a bad sensor and leaky valve on my pool equipment for no extra charge. Choose Steiner Solar you won't be disappointed.

  Had a representative from another solar company come to our house to talk about solar electric systems. Before going with him, I decided to call around and see what the going rate was. The representative assured me to not worry, and that they had "the best price."
