  Solar Symphony was referred to us by the SCE Marketplace. Although we had an issue with finding the right replacement tile for our roof after the panels were installed, they worked with us to get it right. Diana C. Project Manager for Solar Symphony was instrumental in keeping us informed with the project progress and always returned my phone calls/email inquiries.   It can sometimes be very dubious when contracting with a new business, especially when there is a good amount of money and unfamiliarity with the product. Solar Symphony was recommended to me by a close friend that had solar installed by Symphony last year and whose opinion I greatly value. I initially met with owner Mark Nelson and was very impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. As the process progressed, we met his installation team who provided superb service with all the equipment placement, labeling lines, paint touchup to help all the product on the wall side blend with our exterior paint, and cleanup. My project manager was Angel Tello, who was truly a blessing. Angel timely, kindly and completely answered all our questions and kept us updated. At the close of our project, he also made sure I understood the solar monitoring app and told me to feel free to call him if I had any additional questions. Owner Mark Nelson also contacted me at closing to provide some great helpful tips. I highly recommend Solar Symphony!!!

  A standing ovation is deserved for this Solar Symphony performance!! Mark Nelson provided excellent sales advise and prompt quoting. We purchased a 5.2 kW system for our new home in Encinitas. Pricing was very fair based on other quotes we received. We were kept informed all along the way. Everything went smoothly and as promised.   Solar Symphony is an excellent and professionally run company. I reviewed some 15 solar companies before selecting Solar Symphony for several reasons -no hi pressure or baloney sales, a excellent competitive price near the low end of some 10 offers, a professional staff that was most pleasant to deal with and a well qualified installation crew. While we missed our installation date involving some 42 panels I will use them again in the near future for another home.

  This has got to be one of the smoothest project I've seen. Our initial meeting with Mark was great, Chris and the crew were awesome - getting the install done in a SINGLE DAY ! All the correspondence with the HOA, the city, the power company and city inspections, everything was really smooth from start to finish. It was a true PLEASURE dealing with Solar Symphony! We signed the paperwork on 2/15 and our system was up and running on 3/28. Solar Symphony took care of EVERYTHING. Easiest project EVER! I would HIGHLY recommend them!

  I had an excellent experience in working with Solar Symphony. Their industry knowledge, customer focus, flexibility was top notch. Dave my installer was extremely professional, a great resource and he went out of his way to install the best system that was physically possible. The Program Management office were very efficient, keep informed every step of the way and were quick to get my system scheduled. Once my permits were received, my construction day was scheduled within a week and my installation was done in 3 days without a problem or issue.

  I was very pleased with my solar installation by the Solar Symphony staff. They arrived when they said they would and were courteous and polite. They were very respectful of my property. We had no problems with the installation or set up. When the inspector required us to trim back a shrub that was near the electrical box....they offered to do it for us so we could comply. Impressive! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Solar Symphony to my family and friends.

  I was very pleased with the service I received from Solar Symphony. My permit to have solar installed in my roof got held up by the city and the people at Solar Symphony worked diligently to get things going again. I was always given updates regarding the progress that was made. After the permit issues were resolved the install was finished fast. These guys worked hard for me to build a beautiful array on a challenging roof. They were courteous, efficient, and always left the work area clean and safe. They were always able to answer any questions I had, provide explanations regarding technical information with expertise, and completed my install exceeding my expectations.

  IMO character of a business in service industry is most important when there are exceptions or things are not going as expected/planned. Working with Solar Symphony has been an amazing experience from start to end. They assigned a professional to take you through every step and they were always on or ahead of schedule. We worked with Rachel, and she was always quick to respond and even during holidays. There is never a push for payment. Prices are very competitive and quality is awesome.   To start, Solar Symphony came highly recommended from a friend. I had done some basic solar panel research using EnergySage and also got some competing quotes from multiple companies (Solar Symphony was not one of the listed companies in EnergySage). However, after discussing with the very knowledgeable Mark, I decided to go with Solar Symphony. To be honest, Mark was the sole factor in choosing them. He is highly knowledgeable about varying products, very quick to respond to questions, and most importantly was honest and not pushy.

  Stop wasting time reading this- pick up your phone and call Mark Nelson at Solar Symphony! I got almost 10 quotes. What ultimately made me decide to go with Solar Symphony was price, value, 25 year warranty on everything (this is especially important for the inverter which has lots of parts and may break down after 10 or so years), and Mark's quick replies and responsiveness to all my questions. They truly value the customer experience and what to make the whole thing as smooth a process as possible. He also took the time to listen to my requests and to accommodate. From start to finish it took less than a month to go live. Everything was seamless. A HUGE shoutout to Bethany who is sooo organized and on top of things and made the whole thing stress-free. Also, Alberto who did the install was wonderful and really nice! This is a GREAT company and this is quite possibly the best home improvement experience I have had! Thank you so much everyone at Solar symphony for a terrific job! Solar power brilliantly orchestrated!!!

  Solar Symphony understands customer service!! That is something I find missing from many businesses these days. My project with Solar Symphony was complex and unusual. I cannot say it was the smoothest process in the world mostly due to hurdles created by The City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. I can also say that Solar Symphony Construction absolutely messed up on a few things during the whole process as is typical with any type of construction. However, when they made a mistake, they admitted to it, apologized for it and fixed it. They were always on my side when we had to deal with LADWP, which is always a nightmare. Dealing with LADWP for residential solar is mind-numbing. Solar Symphony worked with them constantly until they got everything approved and were able to turn on my system. Now that its up and running we are powering our entire house and two electric cars off the sun! Thanks Solar Symphony.

  I'm writing this review a full year after my experience with Solar Symphony. Everything has worked out just as Mark Nelson, our sales representative said it would. We found the entire staff at the company to be helpful and caring. A big shout out goes to our installer, Shawn, who really went the extra mile to make sure that not only was the system installed properly, but he also took the time to make it aesthetically pleasing to anyone that has a view of our system. The paint match and tender care to our home (no broken roofing tiles) was appreciated. We elected to use Matadors Credit Union to finance our solar loan (great experience there too) and just a few weeks ago we received our 30% tax solar credit!!! Our electric bill was very low when it came time for our "true-up" statement that happens annually... even with the very rainy season. Solar works and you can't go wrong with Solar Symphony!

  Solar Symphony installed our solar system just over a year ago. We wanted a system large enough to just satisfy our usage, and they helped us figure out what that would be. They did everything--the paperwork, the permits, all the work, and they did it with the highest quality of components available. The office personnel, the installers, the site inspectors--all were professional and attentive and took a personal interest in our needs. When a small issue came up at the beginning, someone was out here the very next day to resolve it. The entire company from beginning to end was invaluable to our concept, and we just received our annual "True-Up" Bill. We owed $78 for the year, and part of that was for fees and other charges. I researched many companies and did interviews with four of them. My intensive research showed me that Solar Symphony was the best, by far, and we could not be happier that we found them to do the install. Thank you, Solar Symphony!

  Essentially a perfect transaction. Work done in two days, No intrusions, no fuss. I worked out my ROI to be around 15 percent on the transaction and so far, after 3 months SDGE owes me over $200!

  After getting 6 different quotes from all the top yelp rated solar companies in San Diego a friend that I work with recommended Solar Symphony, which he and his mom had just used to install their systems. I am so glad that he did. They came in with by far the best quote and were able to get my system installed and through final inspection and sign off with SDG&E within 5 weeks of signing the contract while maintaining high quality and great customer service throughout. I pestered them a lot with questions and they were always polite and responded in a very timely manner to everything, no matter how stupid. They were able to sneak me into NEM 1.0 just in time!   Just an all around great company. I had a solar system on my roof that came with the house I bought and found out recently that it doesn't even work and the way they installed it wasn't even up to code. I live in Yorba Linda and the company that installed it, based in Orange, isn't even in business anymore (shocker). I shopped around for several weeks, trying to figure out if I should try to have it repaired or just get a new one. I met with several companies and got a range of estimates--some as high as $65,000! Most of the companies were going to charge me thousands of dollars to take my old system down. Not Solar Symphony. Not a dime. They were the one company that I didn't feel was trying to overcharge me. Their sales rep Mike was fantastic and gave me an estimate by email within a few days that was very reasonable. He didn't try to sell me on stuff I didn't need, or ask me to sign up for some program that would put a lien on my house. Solar Symphony arranged all my financing and gave me a great rate with no money down and no up front financing charges like many competitors are charging (some are charging as much as $1000 for the right to finance--crazy).

  From the person on the phone Sumer to the salesman Mark to the installers to the owner this is a top notch all together company. If you are thinking Solar this would be your very best bet.   Went with Solar symphony as their salesman knew more about the solar panels than the other companies. I got 3 total estimates, and was also interested in battery technology to store energy. The representatives from the other companies knew nothing about batteries, which was concerning to me. My major concern about this company was and still is whether they will stay in business long enough that if I have a problem with the panels that they can repair it for me, but the benefits of the lower cost outweighed this concern.

  Where do we begin... From the top to the bottom Solar Symphony has professionals at every point in the process. Not only did they have the best cost for our particular system, but they went above and beyond at every level. We had several conversations from sales, operations, and the owner and found them to be extremely polite, courteous, honest, responsive and flexible. In addition to setting up the traditional solar, they were able to accommodate my request to install a 240 Volt Charger for our Ford Focus EV.

  I talked to a half dozen Solar Electric imstallers and conducted 3 on-site interviews that included a cost proposal and system reccomendations. As a result of my vetting process I signed a purchase and instalation contract with North San Diego County based Solar Symphony. Here's why.....I spoke via phone several times with owner Rob Smith and conducted an on-site intervew with Solar Consultant Mark Nelson. The most key factor that led to choosing Solar Symphony to work with was that I senced these guys possessed integrity. I did an "apples to apples" cost comparrision with 2 other companies and it turned out that my choice to go with Solar Symphony also saved me a nice amount of money. Start to finish, my system was completely installed in 4 days and it only took the Solar Symphony team another 3 days to facilitate my connection to SDG&E's grid. If you're considering the purchase of a Solar Electric System, you should definitely talk to Rob Smith or Mark Nelson at Solar Symphony.
