  I had a great experience working with Steve and his team. Steve was very engaged through the entire process, and is an excellent communicator. He was the only solar contractor that actually took measurements of my roof before giving me an estimate (the other contractors I got quotes from relied on google maps) and he gave me a detailed quote, so I knew exactly what I was getting into.

  Working with Steve was great. I had gotten solar for my home from a large solar corporation and was very unhappy with the lack of customer service. When I needed solar for my commercial building, I reached out to a few solar companies and I was impressed with how organized and competent Steve was. From the first meeting to installation and completion it was a very smooth project. We have a clay / cement tile roof at the office and he was able to install the solar panels (50 panels) no problem and without damaging any of the tiles. The system is up and running now and was approved by PGE within a couple of weeks of installing. If you are looking to add solar I highly recommend Solar Pros and Steve.

  Working w/ Solar pro has been a great experience and I would highly recommend them if you have a solar project. My installation was 30 panels which is a fairly large system came together perfectly. Everything from the initial design, to the permits w/ the City - to the install went exactly as promised. I especially liked how responsive Steve is - and punctual. He's also just a good person - easy to work with and same with his crew. Seasoned, professional, but friendly.

  Solar Pro did an awesome job on our home's solar. Steve was able to answer all of my questions about panels, inverters, batteries, etc. and then showed me a ton of information to help me decide to move forward with Solar Pro. He was even able to install earlier than anticipated! And while PGE gave us a hard time, Steve and his crew worked diligently with PGE and our local city permitting office to get everything squared away and now we are generating power without relying as much on dirty energy! Not to mention the panels and hardware Solar Pro uses are much more aesthetically pleasing (all black with no visible lines in the panels) to the competitors!

  When we were looking for solar we did a lot of research and looked at a lot of reviews. Solar Pros stood out amongst the larger companies we found and, upon first contact by phone, our impression was that Steve (owner) was incredibly responsive, professional, and communicated clearly, forging oa trusting relationship from the start.

  Thinking about all the construction-related projects we have ever done, Steve's customer service is the best. Steve did what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it, and for the price he said he was going to do it for. And the quality seems great, in that our solar panels look good and are producing the amount of electricity he predicted. We heartily recommend Steve for any solar job you may be considering.

  I chose (based on faith, I did my detail due diligence on solar renewable energy systems before meeting anyone) Solar Pro on Yelp because of the excellent reviews (decided to pick the underdog 2nd most popular best 5stars review) the company had received and they sure exceeded my expectations.

  We have an old, non--conforming tile roof. We were at a loss as to whom or where we should turn for solar. Steve was recommended and came up with a very workable solution. He removed 950 ft.² of tile and installed composition shingles, upon which he mounted the solar panels. To see the roof and panels you would never know that there are two different types of roofing materials. The job was completed in less than 2 1/2 days. Steve handled the permits and PG&E hook ups. We highly recommend Solar Pro.

  Steve and Solar Pro are amazing. Solar Pro installed panels on our home earlier this years and we couldn't be more pleased. Working with Steve was tremendous--transparent, honest, responsive and reliable. We knew exactly what to expect and when. Everything exceeded our expectations.   Other solar companies told me my property wasn't suitable for solar because my roof was too segmented and city-owned street trees shadowed my solar access. Solar Pro not only took the time to design a custom system that fit my roof, but Steve also coordinated with the city arborist to have the trees topped so our roof receives more sunlight. After Solar Pro performed a home energy analysis to reduce our electric usage Steve researched and purchased nearly 100 low-wattage LED replacement light bulbs of various styles that work in our existing fixtures. Where other companies couldn't deliver, Solar Pro excelled.
