  Solar Going Up saved us a great deal of money on a smoothly operating solar installation. They were able to quote any solar panels on the market at reasonable prices and they were one of very few SoCal companies I could find that offered SMA Sunny Boy inverters, which are cheaper and more reliable than SolarEdge and EnPhase (which seemed to be the only two offered by other solar contractors). The owners, John and Libby, were always upbeat and committed to customer satisfaction (and they will no doubt tell you, I was a demanding customer).

  Super impressed with this company. We have been struggling with my previously installed solar for the past couple of years. Connor was very thorough, spent a lot of time explaining how the system works and what was going on with ours. Overall very professional, highly recommend.

  I’m so glad I went with Solar Going UP. Unlike most solar technicians, I felt heard when working with Connor. He listened to my needs and he got the job done quickly and efficiently. His professionalism was top notch and he was able to get me the best deal possible. If you plan on getting solar, I wouldn’t recommend any other company or technician but Connor from Solar Going UP because of his knowledge of the solar industry, his work ethic, and his excellent communication with his clients.   Solar Going UP was excellent from start to finish. Libby was fast to respond and Connor connected to schedule an appointment immediately. He was flexible with my schedule changes and understanding. When Connor helped us with our service he was helpful and explained everything he was doing and even walked us through with the manufacturer warrant process. Every step of the way was professional and taken care of. Definitely will use them again and recommend!

  Connor is an excellent representative for Solar Going Up. His knowledge, expertise, and evaluation of our old system and solar production enabled him to identify the total production needs for our lifestyle, and provide a supplemental system, to meet and exceed our total electrical demand.   John and Libbie are great! Any time I had a question they were responsive and helped answer all my questions, very patiently. They provided me different options and explained the process well, where I can understand. Other companies that provided me estimates, were super high and I told John I didn't need the Mercedes as long and the end result was the same. He understood and didn't try to over sell me and told me what he had at his home. He encouraged me to go with the system I have now and its working very well.

  My installation was for 54 panels: their estimate was well below all of the competitors I also considered, plus they used a superior solar panel and controllers, they handled the permit process, the installation was smooth and without incident, and they took the time to show me the how to communicate with it and so on.

  They were great!! We already had solar but we needed a major component replaced. They were here the same day and within a few hours they had everything completed and we've been back in business ever since. We highly recommend them as we are completely satisfied!

  I am updating the review. He has done what he can to make us happy. The net metering is complete. We have had issues with half the panels not working. The owner said he is coming to fix. Will update later if he fixes it.

  This company checked all the boxes on my list of what a good company should be, They are reliable and did what they said they were going to do and did it on time. They use quality equipment that has a proven track record you can depend on. They have good rates that are more than competitive. They have a guarantee for products and services that gives you peace of mind that they stand behind their work. They were at my house at 8am and finished at 2:30. They installed 18 solar panels and left my home as clean as it was when they got there. Im going to wait a year and update this review but Im pretty certain it will be good news because the equipment was all excellent quality.

  I contacted multiple solar panel installation companies but I selected SGU because they had the lowest cost. John and the installer did an excellent job adding four more panels to our system. I highly recommend SGU for any solar panel installation.

  I needed a solar panel replaced that was cracked. Despite a tight time frame for the repair, John was able to schedule the repair immediately and keep me informed about his arrival time. He quickly replaced the damaged panel upon his arrival. Very reasonable pricing and excellent service. Highly recommend.

  Outstanding service at a reasonable price. Originally scheduled noon - 2pm. John texted at 11:30 to let me know he was running late and it would be around 2pm. Texted again when they were on their way. Did a full system check, explained how everything works and even trimmed the neighbor's palm tree that was blocking some panels.
