  Seth and the whole SDCS team provided exceptional service from first call to follow up. We were really glad to learn the details about the technologies offered by SDCS and the process of selecting the right size and design. Each visit from the team was on time and all of the work is top notch, very clean process and final appearance. We also like the fact that SDCS is a local business who provide great PV systems and service to their local community. And it was such an unexpected bonus to learn that SDCS 's monitoring of the system is ongoing and uses the same app we use to check per panel output, historical output, etc. Highly recommended.

  Having checked out several solar companies in the San Diego area, we chose San Diego County Solar based upon our initial meeting with their general manager, Seth Tilley. His succinct delivery about the benefits and pitfalls of solar power as well as his forthright answers to our questions and concerns helped make our decision surprisingly easy. The further we got into doing research on solar energy, we were very pleased that Seth took the time either by phone or personal visits to make sure we understood everything we needed to know. His efforts to ensure we were comfortable with our decision and to make sure we understood the installation aspects of the package we chose made it a no-brainer. Once the installation process began, he was on site to ensure his team did the job right the first time. We are looking forward to powering our area of North County for the foreseeable future and appreciate the hard work of Seth and the San Diego County Solar team.

  San Diego County Solar designed and installed our residential solar array system in spring of 2019, and we could not be happier with the results. Ken Roberts was our primary interface with San Diego County Solar, and he could be reached by phone, text, or email at any stage during the process. Additionally, he was on site for major phases of the installation to coordinate with us any details that needed to be confirmed. This level of personal accessibility and contact with a company representative (Ken) in a project of this scope is invaluable.

  If you're worried that a local company can't compete with the national solar companies, worry no more. You will find that San Diego County Solar is more than competitive with all solar companies (I had two other bids), and offer a product that is as good or better than other solar companies. Eighteen months ago I decided to go with them. Since that time I have experienced the savings that they said I would (I went from around $250/month in electrical bills on average to ZERO). I highly recommend Mike Davidson and his crew at San Diego County Solar.

  I’m not one who writes reviews to praise companies for doing what they contract to do, however when the business goes above and beyond what I expected, then I’m glad to praise them. San Diego County Solar and Mike Davidson did everything right when installing my solar. They also provided a superior design to their competitors, a lower cost, installed ahead of schedule and left the jobs it looking better than when they arrived. Furthermore, my solar system will save me more money Than I thought as the system is producing more electricity that expected.
