  Kudos to Raceway Electric & Solar who were very professional, efficient and knowledgeable. They were quick to respond and prompt showing up at the appointed time for the assessment for the work I wanted done - which I find to be a challenge these days with other companies. I had several projects I needed done which included providing an outdoor two separate electrical outlets, creating lighting and electrical outlets in an existing shed and providing power to an outdoor fountain with an on/off switch. When Mike, the owner, came by to give me an estimate.

  Raceway Electric has my highest recommendation. Setting the appointment was friendly and easy - though they *do* book a week or two out. Sam the electrician arrived on time to install an external (weatherproof) power outlet and quickly completed the task - less than 45 minutes on-site. Their trucks are clean and well-stocked w/ parts and I couldn't be more delighted with the service. Raceway will be my first call the next time I need ANY electrical work done fast, well, and priced fairly!

  Right from the start Mike was very helpful in giving option for running electrical to our new hot tub which helped me pick the best option. Everyone at raceway was helpful and communicated extremely well. I will definitely be going back to raceway for my next electrical or solar needs!

  My solar provider went down and I needed a diagnosis for the system . Raceway has a great team. The front office is excellent providing good communication as to what to expect. The electrical evaluation was completed quickly and they were able to refer me to someone who is working on the SolarEdge inverter.

  Mike and his crew removed my solar panels so his roofer, Ferraco Roofing, could make the repairs to my roof to stop the leaking. I had another company install my solar 8 years ago and I wish I had Raceway Electric do it back then! Mike’s crew did a great job removing the panels and then reinstalling with all the correct stands and flashing to ensure a great leak proof installation. My favorite thing about Mike was his attentive and prompt customer service. He answered his phone or called me back every time. He communicated every step of the way and his crew was on time and got the job done on schedule. Very professional company and great service. I would use him again and I will be recommending him to anyone that needs electric repairs, installation or PV solar, Raceway Electric ROCKS!

  Mike was great. We used Raceway Electric and Solar to make updates before selling our home and then for request for repairs. They were so helpful, very pleasant to work with, gave great information and tips, and made it an overall a great experience. I highly recommend!

  We have used Raceway Electric for our solar panel installation and we are very happy. They worked closely with the roofers because we were getting a new roof, too, and that really helped make things go smoothly. We also used them recently to replace a breaker for our jacuzzi.   Raceway installed our solar several years ago and when our breaker for the solar started to have an issue they came back to troubleshoot and fix the problem. They were responsive and got us an appointment as quick as possible. This is a local, family owned business that I've always had great interactions with.   He identified the problem within 10 minutes and had the repair completed within an hour. Raceway's pricing was also great and they were able to come out within a couple of hours on the day I called them. We had another contractor come out and replace breakers... which was never the problem to begin with. If you are looking for an honest, timely and trustworthy Electric and Solar company, look no further. I wish I had know before I installed my solar but I'm happy to know of them now!

  I've used raceway on two different homes and different projects. Both times the service was excellent, and the pricing was lower than other bids. Mike and Eddie stay very busy and have been in business for quite awhile, I swear I see their trucks everywhere around San Diego. If you're looking for an electrician or solar installer I wouldn't look anywhere but here.

  Recently had Mike from Raceway Electric install a large solar panel system on our home. We had researched many other local company's and Raceway Electric was able to give us the best price of the different quotes we received. Mike was very knowledgeable on the whole process from start to finish from getting the permits to navigating the app that monitors our solar panels.   Just had Solar installed. Everything went so smooth. Mike one of the owners actually did the install. We also had our him install 3 lights in our garage and put two new electrical outlets in my kitchen for my confection oven. And we also had them upgrade our electrical panel. I got 5 quotes before I decided to use Raceway. So glad we did. They are a wonderful company to work with and do exactly what they promise.Give them a try. I am fussy and was so happy with them so I am sure they can please anyone.
