  Justin and his team have been professional, responsive, honest, and helpful throughout the entire process. We used RC Energy for completely re-roofing our house. This included removing and re-installing the solar panels that they had previously installed years ago with a previous home-owner. We received multiple quotes prior to going with RC and their prices were competitive. Scheduling was predictable and accurate - as was the estimated time of completion for the project.

  RC did an incredible job replacing the paper under our roofing tiles. The guys got here each morning on time and worked throughout the day. They were neat and professional and made certain that our yard was cleaned and swept each night before they left. Ivan and his team completed the job in a week just as Justin had estimated. RC also did a great job removing and replacing our solar panels with minimal downtime for us. We couldn't be more pleased and offer our highest recommendation for Justin and his company.

  Justin and his team did an awesome job. I got a number of bids and decided to go with Justin because his company provided the overall best solution for our needs at a very competitive price. Originally was just looking to get solar but knowing that my AC and furnace were old and inefficient discussed that concern with Justin. Our home also had very poor insulation so in the end we did our solar, new AC and furnace as well as additional insulation in our attic. The job could not have gone any smoother and I highly recommend this company.

  Not only was Justin and his crew professional and extremely hard workers in replacing my roof, I was informed daily, either through emails and/or photos, of the work in progress. In addition to providing me with a solid and up-to-date roof, Justin advised and assisted me through the process of recovering monetary retribution of a former roofer that did a bad replacement roofing job on my home 3 years ago. With Justin's help, I was able to recover the amount that I paid for a bad roofing job from the former roofer. Without his assistance, I would have lost thousands of dollars for a lousy roofing job. Justin's experience, knowledge and integrity is invaluable.

  Justin & his crew did a great job with our solar installation. Had a minor hiccup with the wrong water heater but besides that we're seeing our energy costs be reduced every month. Justin and his guy Sergio also did a fantastic job on our guest bath remodel recently. Justin was thorough, on time, on budget and communicated with me every step of the way. He picked up all the new materials & installed them, painted our bathroom a beautiful shade of blue. We're already having him quote us on other projects currently.   We used RC Energy to install solar panels 3 months ago. Justin was very professional, and responsive to multiple emails and phone calls. We interviewed 4 companies, and chose RC Energy for the following reasons: 1) Best financing package (18 month 0 down, 0 interest loan, and a 12 year 2.9% loan with no origination fee or prepayment penalty; 2) Provided best system for our disjointed roof (microinverter) while other larger companies tried to push Sunpower panels and I believe they had incentives to push them; 3) Diversified company that should stay in business if the solar panel industry takes a downturn after federal rebates end in 2016, or net metering rates change later this year; and 4) Provided 20 year warranty on both parts and labor.

  A year ago we decided to get solar and went to 3 different companies (one of them is a company which advertises all over the place and I felt they were the worst), for quotes. I really liked the guys from RC Energy Solutions and picked them, they were just so much better to deal with than the other companies and were not pushy at all. Well, a year later we got a final elec. bill for one year and it is $358 for the WHOLE year!! That is what we were paying for a month. They were very professional with the installation and everything that went into it. We got our panel upgraded and are sooooo SUPER HAPPY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. I honestly feel that this was the best move for us.

  About a month ago Justin had Chase replaced the non functioning Solaredge inverter for the fourth time. Justins Electrical Engineer, Chase informed me that Solaredge has constant problems and that the only solution is to install the system from the other manufacturer that Justin and Chase installed on my prior home, which worked well. In May Chase replaced the defective wire after a Solaredge tech came out and supervised the repairs.............and the system works.

  I can't say enough about how happy I was with RC Energy Solutions! I had a leak in my roof after a very heavy rainfall. I reached out to a number of companies on Yelp. Most replied asking for my information, but RC set up an appointment for the next day. He showed up on time and did a full inspection of the area where the leak was. It turned out it was just some cracking in the stucco. He filled all the cracks with sealant. I asked how much I owed and he said nothing! I told him I wanted to pay for his time. He said if it doesn't fix the leak he will come back and go even deeper to investigate, then he will charge me. Friendly service, great work, good communication, what more could you ask for?   Justin and the team expertly handled a pretty big project for us - removing a big old solar system, replacing rotted wood, installing new underlay and putting new cement tiles on 3300 sq ft roof. I was surprised how easy they made it for us from end to end - scoping it out, choosing tile, demo, laying new tile, painting and finishing up. Great attention to detail, transparent about cost, good communication, high-quality craftsmanship, and the team worked HARD to get it done quickly. Some contractors say they'll be there at 9 and show up at 11. These guys were here at 6:50 and raring to go.

  Justin, one of the owner's of RC Energy Solutions was our point of contact from the initial estimate all the way through to completion of the solar panels actually getting turned on. From the minute we met Justin, we felt very comfortable working with him. Justin's expertise in the industry was apparent during our estimate and he immediately struck us as being straight forward and genuine. No gimmicks, no upsells. Justin is very easy going, easy to work with, and was especially accommodating (for super type A clients like myself). We always prefer to support local and small businesses, like RC Energy Solutions, and we couldn't be happier that we did in this situation. There is certainly something to be said about the owner of a small business coming out and doing the estimates himself and being your main point of contact throughout the entire job. No sales guy, no project manager (which would have been fine too), but the actual OWNER.

  RC Energy did new windows/doors and roof/solar work LAST YEAR in the fall. I'm just getting around to writing a review because we had a wedding to plan, a COVID to avoid, and all the crazy of life has gotten in the way. We chose to work with Justin and RC after reading the excellent reviews. We finally decided to do solar in October, and were able to get on the schedule to have our work completed by the end of the year to qualify for the solar rebate. We ultimately decided to replace our old single pane sliders and windows and add solatube lighting in addition to a solar project. Justin recommended that we have our home re-roofed in conjunction with the solar installation as our home is over 30 years old, and had never been re-roofed.

  We discovered a few leaks in our roof over the Thanksgiving weekend. We got on Yelp to look for someone. Justin reached out right away. He came by just a few days later to take a look at our situation. He was very thorough. He explained all our options, took pictures and went over all possible solutions. He was kind enough to give me some tips and tricks to try....and it worked!! I couldn't be more grateful. Not everyone would do that and be that honest, but he was!   These folks know their stuff and operate with high integrity- everything you could hope for. They just did a complicated, large-scale window and door project for our condo - we replaced every single window and door in the entire place. They were communicative, clean and VERY professional. The install team was at our house working for days with me and the baby around, and they were capable, responsible AND considerate every step of the way. I've been working with them for years and, with every interaction, Justin and his team just impress me more. They offer great advice and strong options, but they don't pressure sell you. We were happy to give them all the business we could, and we hope to add more projects in the near future.

  Justin from RC Energy Solutions bidded for me while I was in the "quote phase" for Solar. Although he did not end up getting my contract, I was very pleased with his offerings, and his extremely competitive pricing. Out of nine companies I got quotes from, I would say Justin was #2 and nearly tied with my #1. I also appreciated how he did NOT upsell me or pressure me to make a decision within a short time frame. I ended up not deciding to redo my roof, but if I had, I would have picked Justin because his pricing for the roof portion was by far the most competitive and included the most bang for the buck. His solar panel designs also reflected his knowledge in local code, as some other bids were too conservative in their roof setbacks and panel locations. He also offers a wide range of panel types for different system requirements. Overall I would strongly recommend engaging RC Energy Solutions in your bidding process if you ever consider Roofing or Solar. There is a good chance they will be the most competitive.

  Justin was at a disadvantage when he came to bid the job. We had been working this install for quite some time and were hitting roadblocks at every corner. We had dealt with some pretty disappointing people for months. We were at the point where we didn't trust anyone. Because of the modification to our home, and our distrust of those we dealt with, we eventually got our own architect/engineer to do the math to ensure the job was done correctly.

  I have absolutely only the greatest things to say about RC Energy Solutions! They were absolutely amazing, everything from the initial sales visit, to the installation, to following up with me post installation making sure everything was working great. As an engineer adding solar to me was a very technical decision/discussion, everyone I worked with at RC was extremely knowledge and helpful and they helped answer all my questions, rather than sell me solar, they consulted with me providing me all the info I needed to make a very educated and informed decision.   We replaced all our sliders and windows . We felt fortunate that we found Justin and this amazing company. We have never experienced such professional service. Their installers were neat , tidy , fast and quiet. Our house is now so quiet and the freeway noise has disappeared. The temperature difference is obvious and we look forward to our utility bills being reduced. I would highly recommend this company.   I searched the internet when I decided to replace my old windows with double pane windows. I found RC Energy Solutions and worked with Justin to have them installed. I also had them paint the trim on my home. They not only did an excellent job, but were very professional, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. I was so happy with their work, when I decided to get solar panels and insulation, I again called Justin. They did an excellent job! I am so pleased with their work, I highly recommend them.
