  We had been using the solar power system installed by Slingshot Power for the past 3 years without any issue ... until last week, which we noticed that there was not solar power production for 3 days. Our call was answered by Nadine, who promptly diagnosed and concluded that it was SolarEdge inverter issue. Literally within 24 hours, Nadine was able get confirmation from SolarEdge to deliver a warranty replacement. Here we are a week later, the system is back up and running again. Wow! I am quite impressed with the efficiency and attentiveness of the entire staff. Kudos!

  I have had my solar system installed by Slingshot working seamlessly for over 2 years. During this period, I had 2 occasions to seek help from Slingshot. The first time I needed to obtain some documentation for my bank. The second time was a service request just happened recently, which turned out to be a easy fix. In both occasions, Mr. Sherer and his staff are very willing to help, and responsed to my issues immediately. Most importantly, in both cases, I felt like I was talking to some nice friendly neighbors rather than getting supports from a service provider.

  We got our installation done last Year. Yes, there were times when I wished the communications could have been better. However, the installation was completely trouble free. I needed a new mains switch board which was compatible with solar. That got done on time. First city inspection pointed to some addition of a new switch. This also got done timely without any additional cost to me. Connection with PGE was made quite painless. Now my solar cell panels are generating as per the original spec. I can now monitor solar generation on line live. All in all I am quite happy with this choice.

  I wanted to update my last review. After that review I was contacted by Paul and Nadine and everything was repaired, I was refunded the appropriate amount due to my panels not working for 6 months and I've not had any issues for almost a year now! Yay!

  My system from Slingshot has been up and producing power for about 3 months now. I did have one small issue where a couple panels were not producing full power. I called them and they responded very quickly to address the issue. So I can add that their after sales support and warranty service are just as good as their initial work.

  I have had the pleaseure of having Slingshot Power install solar power system at my house. Paul and his team did an excellent job of estimating, prepping, installing, and following up. This included permits, roof top solar panels, equipment install, and hookup in the garage.

  After evaluating five companies including Costco and Tesla I selected Slingshot Power. I am glade that I selected them. They have done very good and professional job. Paul and David both are very nice and friendly people. I highly recommend slingshot for solar power. By the way Costco solar was giving only 10 years warranty and 20% more price while slingshot warranty is 25 years

  Several houses in our neighborhood went in as a collective to get solar systems installed for our houses. After meeting with several providers we ultimately settled on Slingshot Power. From the beginning of the quotation process through installation and usage training, they were absolutely great to work with - being both extremely thorough and responsive. I would definitely recommend them to any person looking to install solar in their home.

  Wish I had done this sooner! I had the pleasure of working with Mike Platzer (Sacramento office) who was upfront about the entire process. Expectations were set and after a month of solar he was spot on. The installation team were great - everything looks great and they even repaired a few roofing tiles I broke a while ago. NEM filing by Nina was quick and painless.

  After Proposals from 4 Solar PV companies, I concluded Slingshot Power was above the crowd of fast talking salesmen who don't understand the technology and push you to sign on the bottom line. I am an electrical engineer who has been using solar electric power for 20 years.

  After talks with 6 different solar companies, I'm so glad I went with Slingshot. The other companies literally took a printout of my building with Google Earth and drew squares all over the place and told me that their system could generate an outrageous amount. The only company that was upfront about the design pointed out that it was impossible due to fire regulations and the fact that they drew panels over my AC units, exhaust vents, and areas that would've been shaded for most of the day.

  Slingshot recently installed a solar system with 13 Sunpower panels and a EV charger at my Cupertino home. The project was completed and is now operational. This is by far one of the smooth home project I have. Their staff, starting with Paul Sherer (chief energy ambassador) and Paul Rose (chief of installation), crew to install the 240v charger, panel installation, are super professional, courteous, efficient and focus on doing the job the right way. The project was done on time, within budget, and the final price I paid is actually what Paul S quoted from day 1.
