  Have you ever had that helpless feeling when you see leaking from your ceiling and you don't know the first thing about roof repair? That was me. Until my wife and I called Simmitri and asked for their help during a holiday weekend, hoping that someone would at least hear our message and then maybe get back to us after the weekend. You cannot understand how grateful my wife and I were when we received a sympathetic, supportive phone call from Viki from Simmitri who made us feel better by saying that Simmitri was working and made me feel that she would do what she could to address our issue. Then, later that day (again during the holiday weekend), Freddie and Reuben came out to our home and spent at least 2 hours looking for the source of the leak and would not stop until they found it. Freddue was like a Roof Detective! He was patient in explaining the issue and persistent until he found the root cause.

  I have never had any guttering cleaned and repaired in my life....I have lived by myself for many years and I am pretty good at doing various things, but every year I try to budget for a "project "on my house that needs someone higher than my paygrade. There were weeds growing, very well, I might add, in some of my gutters so I decided to have a gutter repair and cleaning done. I had no expectations due to my lack of reference, but right from the start, the office personnel hooked me in with their very helpful approach. I didn't even get 2 more bids which is the usual norm. for me. Logistics were worked out and believe me, I kind of gave the company a run for their money, but they accommodated me and I am a happy girl. Yes, I would recommend them, its a shame they don't do hardwood...for next years project!

  It's been over a year now since the solar was installed. I asked for 6.9MW for the year. The system produced 8.0MW so the system should exceed my request for the whole 25 years with normal panel degrade. Note that a MW extra only gets you about $50 because PG&E's overage credit is only 4 cents a KW so that much more isn't that desirable...... we'll see what happens in a rainy year though. My one gripe is the Enphase 7 micro inverters max out at 245 watts. If the panel produces more the excess is "clipped". I'm seeing 5 hours of clipping in May/June and some clipping in every month except December and January on a sunny day. In May/June I think I'm clipping 1KW or more per day. They told me Enphase 7+ (max 295w and only $25 more) would have exceeded the single circuit limit. Enphase can handle 3 circuits and I would have paid the additional. ..... plus maybe I could have gotten by with 1-2 fewer panels and only needed the single circuit. The clipping makes it very tough to determine how much degrade I'm seeing from either dirt or aging.

  As a Board Member and as a homeowner in a large townhome community, I could not be more impressed with Simmitri. On every level they have been great to work with. The quality of work, the knowledgable staff, the very reasonable bid, and the communication, all make working with Simmitri a great experience.   They were FABULOUS and VERY PROFESSIONAL. Lonnie our sales person was very patient with all of our questions and explained things very well. Jason our project manager was excellent at keeping us informed on what would happen when and following up on our questions and minor issues. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. We HIGHLY recommend them. We wish everyone we worked with was as good as they are.

  It's been a long time since I've had such professional work done and amazing service. They got the right financing program for my needs and the entire project was done in a very short time.   Simmitri has cleverly differentiated themselves by offering a comprehensive approach towards energy sustainability for homes using state of the art technology. Prior to installing cool roof, SunPower solar, and Juicebox energy storage, they found deadly levels of carbon monoxide in our home while conducting an energy assessment. Simmitri immediately contacted PG&E who confirmed deadly carbon monoxide. PG&E capped the gas line and said the furnace had to be replaced. At this time, furnace contractors were backed up since we were moving into the El Nino cool weather pattern just before the holiday season. Simmitri partners with an excellent service provider who quickly installed an energy efficient furnace right before Thanksgiving. Our new SunPower solar system has been exceeding expectations, powering the house, AND charging up the JuiceBox batteries during the day so that we can use the stored solar energy at night. This energy storage system is very cool and will also keep our house running if there is a power outage. Interestingly, JuiceBox sends extra energy to the grid during peak demand but keeps enough energy to power my house until the sun rises again. Beyond the cutting edge technology, the sales professionals, roofers, electricians, and engineers were a pleasant group to have working in our home.

  We are so happy with our decision to get a new roof and go solar with Simmitri! We had been researching companies for a few months before scheduling a meeting with one of Simmitri's sales consultants. After meeting with him, we knew we didn't need to speak with anyone else. He was both knowledgeable and extremely patient with all of our questions. He explained that their years of experience with roofing is what sets them apart from other solar companies. Would you want a random company poking a bunch of holes in your roof? I wouldn't... so the fact that they are a roofing company was so reassuring. They were all friendly and professional from beginning to end. The sales consultant was there or at least checked in with us at every step of the process. I especially appreciated that they include energy testing of our house as a standard before they start the installation. They told us if we begin with replacing certain lightbulbs and put new weather stripping around the doors that it would lower our energy bill and we wouldn't have to pay for as many solar panels. The honesty and integrity involved was so impressive. There were a few delays in installation due to weather, but they were constantly communicating with us so we always felt like we were in the loop on everything. I would definitely recommend Simmitri.

  Now that we've had a taste of El Nino and some real storms, I'm ready to give a strong recommendation to Simmitri and especially technician Charlie Mayo. We had 4 roofing firms out to look at some roof leakage problems we've had for years. Charlie's diagnosis of the problem was completely different from all the other 3 - and the fix was much cheaper. He took pictures, did some analysis, got back to us promptly, then did the work quickly. And now we now it really worked - great job!

  Got a quote of $4,800 plus dollars from Affordable Roofing. Supposed to make some specific repairs where leaks were obvious and then do an entire roof inspection including replacing missing tiles. One guy showed up and worked a total of about 18 hours. I called and complained that the roof inspection never took place and in fact the worker never even attempted to replace any missing tiles. Worst part was roof leaked at the places they supposedly fixed after first significant rain and when I called them they sent another guy and told me since it had been a little over a year it would $1900 more to fix what I already paid well over $4 thousand dollars for. Would never consider recommending this outfit to anyone. I would give zero stars but Yelp requires a minimum of one.

  Two words: AWESOME SERVICE. Super professional team all around: from estimate, work, and office support. Most importantly, beautiful work. Efficient and clean team - they cleaned the entire site each evening! Integrity all the way - stayed within the estimate despite our chimney creating some extra work. Friendly and easy to deal with.
