  I recently had gutters installed and failed to schedule repair of the solar pool lines that had to be cut because I thought I could do it myself. Well, after getting all the parts and a ladder I quickly realized it was more risk than I wanted to take on. I called multiple places and actually scheduled one for a week and a half out. Tenco got back to me and said they could fit me in the next day! Of course i jumped on the offer. Less than 24 hours from informing me they could do the repair, I'm writing this review with a big smile. No only did they repair the pipe, they took time to paint the pvc to match the roof and the stucco. There was also some stucco paint damage from the ladder they touched up. Everything was take taken care of quickly and professionally. Tenco will most definitely saved for any of my future pool or electric solar needs.

  2 guys came but I did not remember their names. They were very polite and friendly. They inspected my system thoroughly and explained to all my questions professionally.   Matthew has been in this business for almost 20 years and really knows his stuff. His company deals with commercial and residential solar projects, so we thought we our simple project on our home would be small potatoes for him. That wasn't true at all! He really took the time to answer all of our questions, before the work began, during the work, and after the project was completed. He dealt with our city inspector so masterfully and professionally. He responds to our communications in a timely and professional manner.

  Matt is the definition of what a good business owner should be. I received three quotes prior to choosing Tenco to provide me with solar for my pool. He was the only one to climb up on my roof and actually measure so that the system would be exact. By doing that he constructed a perfect nine panel system where the other two companies only could get seven panels in.

  Wow, another great visit from Matt! We are like a lot of homeowners, we trust hardly anyone. In fact, I can't count on one hand of contractors that we trust! We've known Matt for years and so happy of our relationship! He's always reachable, fixes anything, and doesn't sell you something you don't need! Normal contractors are only in business to make money. Not saying he's not, but he looks down the road on customer service and being trusted. In this day and age, that means everything!   Had Matt come out on a rainy, windy day to give me a consultation on my existing solar water heater. He got right up on the roof and figured everything out for me, and was able to repair my problem right then and there. Super knowledgable, friendly service. Couldn't be happier with the service, and the price was right. Tenco is my go-to now.

  Matt came out to check out our solar panels, (which were installed by American Solar Solution and have sinced disappeared). My mom was convinced they weren't working for years, but he was really honest and told us our panels were fine. He even took the time to explain what it was generating and how to tell. Said he could clean them for a charge, but said we didn't need it. He could have lied, but didn't.

  I purchased a home with a solar panel system which the owner had told me they worked fine but were just disconnected. Turns out they didn't work at all. One panel was shattered and the inverter was "shot". No one would come out and repair this system if they didn't install it themselves. I finally found one company and they wanted to charge me a high rate for a new system or $3000 to replace the inverter and the damaged panel. Then, a few weeks ago, I stumbled across Tenco Solar on Yelp. He didn't have many reviews but they were solid and they "repair."

  I'm very pleased with the thermal solar system Matthew Mitera and his workers installed in my new home. It works as described. Matthew is incredibly honest, thorough, dedicated, and knowledgeable.   Emailed the company on Saturday and got an unexpected reply Sunday. The owner asked if this required a prompt attention and if so he would send out a tech. I decided that since it was Sunday, I could wait till Monday to repair the leak. It's good to know that I had that option.

  Matt and his team at TencoSolar are FAR better than two other solar companies I have used in the valley. They evaluated my existing system, repaired the badly installed panels and actually improved the output of my system.! When it came time to add additional solar they were the ones I called and they were efficient, neat and courteous. And most important, reasonable in price--not the cheapest but fair. Remember I had already had experience with the cheapest! buy cheap buy again!

  Tenco Solar, in my experience, offers the best combination of price and quality. Over the years, Matt Mitera has provided the best quality solar water heater results at the lowest possible price. When I need solar water heater service, I certainly call Tenco Solar - they certainly serve us in Lake Arrowhead.
