  Great company. They installed my ground mounted solar panels at 40% less than anyone else quoted. They handled all of the paperwork, permitting, everything. When they were done you could not tell they were ever here (except for my beautiful solar array). These guys are straight up folks with personalized service and a great staff. Don't be fooled by the big guys and all of their advertising hype. Call Precision Solar first.

  We went with Precision Solar and they were great. The installation was quick and easy and they had exactly the type of system we were looking for. We wanted a system where we could easily add on panels if our needs changed. They helped us to install the system we were looking for and were very professional.   This is a high integrity company! We had them install solar panels in 2016. All was well until we noticed a sharp increase in power consumption after we started using an EV. So, we called them and asked them to come install more panels. Their first response was to troubleshoot the system and consider the possibility that we do NOT need to purchase more panels. I respect their approach, integrity, and commitment to quality. Highly recommended.

  Micah came over and spent his time to educate me on my options. No sales pressure to upgrade, or buy anything I didn't want. I decided to fix what I already had. His team was professional and courteous. They not only did what they said they'd do, but when they found another problem with my water valves, they fixed it right there and didn't bill me extra. I'm so tired of being oversold on things I don't need - this was a refreshing change. My highest recommendation.

  I'm one of those people who likes to read reviews before making a purchase or checking out a new restaurant...but I rarely reciprocate by writing a review. However, I felt it was important to write a review when we recently got solar panels on our home. After researching a few different companies, we decided to go with Precision Solar. We worked with Mike Sotello and his team of professionals. Everyone that I dealt with was very helpful and always knew the status of the project and knowledgeable to answer all our questions. We dealt with Mike from start to finish and he was always good at responding to my questions quickly. Mike and his crew kept me informed throughout the entire installation process allowing me to learn a lot about solar. Whether it was a quick call or a text message to let us know what was happening. Another point I wanted to make was the responsive service that we also received from the office staff. I think this is important to mention as sometimes the behind the scenes staff are not mentioned. I highly recommend this company and tell my friends and neighbors who are considering solar installation.

  Precision Solar is the best. They saved me $20,00.00 over the top 4 solar companies and their work and attention to detail was more craftsmanship than construction. Except for a beautiful ground mount solar array, you would never know they were here. Mike and Micah came out with a cool global positioning devise that measures the year round sunlight output and the spot Mike had suggested was perfect. Mike worked up an itemized quote and we were ready to rock. The great ladies in the office took care of all of the permitting and HERO financing paperwork. The heavy lifting was done by 2 super guys who worked so hard I couldn't watch for very long. It was very hot. Great job on every level. Everyone at Precision Solar is welcome to have dinner at my home anytime. This company is worth 6+ stars.

  I contacted four different solar companies for pool solar estimates. I chose a competitor based purely on lowest price. In retrospect I wish I had gone with Precision Solar (which was only slightly more) Mike has 30 years of experience. He isn't a huge corporation playing a numbers game while overlooking customer service. While the other three companies emailed me estimates based on a Google Maps satellite view measurement, Mike came out to the house, measured my pool, looked at my setup. He sat and answered all of my questions. He followed up with me on several occasions. The clear impression I received from all the companies is that pool solar is pretty straight forward. Guessing who is a great installer vs who isn't is a crapshoot. Having said that, err on the side of those who favor customer service, because when you invest $4-7k in something like pool solar, great customer service goes a long way.

  I recently purchased a house that had a pool with a solar heating panel. The panel got a leak so I called the company that installed the system, which was not precision solar. They provided terrible service, missed the first appointment, and overcharged me. After that experience I decided to go with precision solar for a second opinion. The tech- Gene- was amazing! Very helpful, explained everything, and showed me how to handle problem areas. It was the complete opposite experience from the "other guys". I would highly recommend this company, because of the excellent service, friendly staff, and expertise. A big thanks to Gene.

  Precision Solar did our solar installation 1 1/2 years ago and we could not be happier. We had pretty high electricity usage due to having a pool and a lot of electronics in our house and Micah came out mapped out our system and estimated our solar production and how much our electricity bill will be after the solar is installed. I am happy to report that after our first 12 months of solar production our electricity bill for the entire year was $60. Now that we have installed a new high efficiency heating and cooling system I anticipate having credits with SDGE instead of owing money. Micah did solar installations for 2 of my neighbors at the same time and they are thrilled with their systems as well. When they did the install they did an amazing job. They even went as far as painting the conduit and junction boxes on the roof and side of the house to match the colors so you don't hardly even notice them. I have recommended several of my friends to Precision and am confident that they will have the same experience that we did. Great Job Precision and keep up the good work!!!!

  Used Precision Solar about a year ago. I chose them because not only was their pricing the best but their warranty was the best of any I could find. I called about a week ago to report a leak - it happens! - and their crew was out in a few days and fixed it. Great people as well - ask for Jeff for great service and experience!

  So we got our initial quote back in December when we were shopping. 3 months, some research, and a few quotes later... We decided on precision mostly due to the panels they use (sunstar) which were really good value panels compared to others we looked at. In addition to the products they had great customer service too. Their price is great too compared to other quotes we got. Laurel is super helpful and responsive. We did multiple rearranges via email in our design due to our interest in maximizing our south facing roof. Our installer (Matt I think) did the job in less than 2 days. I was shocked how efficient he worked and how clean it looks. He helped me understand how the heater integrates into our automated system and answered my questions. We got +6° in our first day (in March!). I'm confident our pool will be much more comfortable during the swim season with minimal use of our gas heater. Thanks precision solar!

  WOW! is how I would describe my experience from start to finish. I had done extensive research, interviewed several companies and had actually decided on another company. It just so happened I called Precision Solar just before signing on with the other company. Mike discussed my project (which was quite large and complicated) and promised he could beat anyone else's price . He had no idea what I had been quoted. Sure enough, his quote was more than 20% less than the lowest quote I could get for exactly the same system.

  I have nothing but good things to say about this company. We bought a house that had all of the plumbing for the solar but no panels (they were taken down when the house was re-roofed). We called and spoke with Mike. He gave us a quote and was done with all of the work within two days. We love our solar panels! Our pool is about 15 degrees warmer and now we are able to swim in it so much more often.

  I contacted Precision Solar about replacing my solar panels that were leaking. Two other companies came out and gave me estimates to replace them. When Mica came out, he examined the panels and said he could fix them without replacing them. True to his word, he fixed them for about one-fifth the cost of replacing. Over a year later, they are still working with no leaks. I referred them to a real estate client whose panels were leaking, and Gene came out the same day and fixed them for a fraction of what my clients were expecting to pay. They were blown away! Honesty, fair prices, and good workmanship--what more can you ask for?
