  After many research on solar energy, I finally decided to made an offer to one of the best solar company: Stellar Solar to install 10 solar panels on my roof. They did an amazing job to complete the design and installation in an month. They helped me to establish the best efficient way from setting up the accounts to smoothly started the power generation with SDGE. Now I enjoyed so much by setting up the best room temperature and all electric utilities around the house, almost FREE! I am sure I will receive money refund by the year anniversary.   We have been wanting to install solar for some time now but the process was overwhelming. You google solar and there is a flood of information online and you aren't sure what to believe. Initially we thought we were headed in the right direction using online platforms like energy sage. We thought we were doing our research and decided on a company. Luckily, a coworker referred us to Erin Presley from Stellar Solar. We began to understand there was a huge difference from buying from a solar company versus a 3rd party who contracts their work out. This is a big investment and it is not something you want to trust using any company. We felt very at ease with Erin from the first meeting. She was patient, explained everything in depth, understood the materials inside and out, and knew the answer to everything we asked. The product Stellar Solar is top of the line, made at their own warehouse, and installed very quickly. From signing out contract, we had our solar panels up and running within 5 weeks. The process was easy, seamless, and we did not have to lift a finger. Some friends waiting 6+ months for their solar installation. The app is easy to use, communication was amazing throughout the whole process, and we feel very at ease with all the warranties and customer support. This is the direction our world is going and to have freedom from the energy grid feels amazing. I would recommend Stellar Solar to anyone who asks.

  We finally went solar! We did a lot of shopping and curiously we started and ended with Stellar Solar We got ten quotes along the way. There's a lot of competitors out there and a lot of choices. Ours is a little unique, one we overbuilt for the second house we are building on property and it is a ground mount. Some vendors didn't really like the ground mount and were eager to sell us a new roof as well as solar. We had great communication from the team each step of the way. There was a minor mishap along the way, but Stellar took responsibility and never even hinted that they wouldn't. Completely handled to my satisfaction. How a company handles things when they don't go perfect tells me a lot about the company's integrity. I am reassured that they will continue to stand by their work for years to come. Looking forward to our big tax credit next year. I commend Stellar Solar to anyone in the market.

  We highly recommend working with Stellar Solar for all your solar needs. We found Stellar through our friends who used this company for their house. Getting solar is certainly an investment and not inexpensive. So, you can imagine we had a lot of questions and were on the fence. Connor Smith spent about two months working with us and answering all our anxious questions. He explained the tax benefits we should take advantage of now before the next tax season when these benefits would not be as bountiful. He also answered our technical questions in terms of our current power usage and how long-term solar usage will help ease our expenses, etc. Through the process we never felt pressured to sign up for solar and truly felt like Connor had our best interests at heart. Victor Larios helped us with the solar installation. He was friendly and helpful in terms of explaining the installation process and what he needed from us to provide a smooth process. He was also timely to install and walked us through the SolarEdge monitoring app process with clarity. He even set up an account for us ahead of time :) We couldn't recommend Stellar Solar more highly. We experienced seamless service from start to finish!

The team that came out to give us our initial quote were super helpful in answering our questions and our sales rep made sure to give us updates every step of the way. The installation was painless and they even helped us out with the charger for an electric vehicle in our garage. We enjoyed working with their team and would recommend them to anyone.

  We had a great experience with Stellar Solar. We met with 6 or 7 reps from various solar companies and our rep, Connor, was by far the most professional. He walked us through all the pros and cons. He helped us make the best financial and long term decision (which was to purchase the panels), and he shepherded us through the entire process. The panels were put up quickly. They look great. And most important, our electric bill went from like $400 a month to $50. We save so much and don't stress about running the AC. Only once did we have tech questions and everyone was super helpful. A technician came out within the week, examined everything, and explained how the system was functioning (basically less sunlight means less energy, I felt like a genius :)). For a large investment, we feel GREAT about going with Stellar Solar.

  For anyone interested in solar panels, we just added to our system (we had 8 panels from the previous owner) and had a great experience with Stellar Solar. We brought out about 5 companies (I know, a lot but we do our due diligence) and Stellar wasn't the cheapest, but after doing some research, they use the newest and best materials and had the best reviews on the installation process. The reviews were not wrong. The installers that came out ended up having a pretty tough job because of the angles that they had to install the panels so what should have been a 1 day job, turned into a two day job--or at least it would have if the team didn't stay late to finish the job. They did have to come back for an hour a few days later to finalize a couple things but they made it really easy. The best part is they handled all the permits and paperwork, I just got emails from the county/utility that everything was done. Here are pictures: you can see our old (uglier) panels compared to the newer all black panels. If you go with them, your roof will look a lot nicer with only the black panels!

  Easiest construction project we have done. We purchased our system on 11/27 and we're up and running on 12/17. We couldn't believe how smooth it went. The whole crew at Stellar Solar were fantastic. From the sales, installation and inspection team, they were all knowledgeable and answered any questions I had.

  Love this company! Stellar Solar STELLAR SOLAR! I would highly recommend stellar solar when considering installing solar on your home. We recently use them and they absolutely lived up to their name, Stellar! Installation was superb and clean. They have been very professional. We had several hiccups with the county, and they were on it every step of the way making sure that we didn’t feel the impact.   Sun Power by Stellar Solar team did a wonderful job walking us thru the entire process of designing, deciding and installing the solar panels for our home. We are fortunate to have Kenny R. as our Solar Energy Consultant. He is knowledgeable, patient with all our questions, and always available throughout the process whether by email, phone call or text. My husband and I was at first uneasy of having the virtual meeting. We know we have lots of questions and clarifications that would prefer an in person meeting. But Kenny was just amazing of making us comfortable during the virtual meeting. He left us with great satisfaction knowing we are in good hands from beginning to end. Jake and Tiffany kept us on top and informed of schedules ahead of time, and worked with our availabilities. Victor and his team, did an amazing work with the installation process. They made sure the wirings, pipes, and electrical panels were safe and clean. He takes pride in their work. Finally, Hector did the finishing touch, ensuring that we'll pass the inspection.   Amazing!!! Outstanding.. I started my search for a solar company by reading every negative review about every company in San Diego county and narrowing it down to top 3 choices. A lot of the negative reviews complained about how long it took, communication and lack of it, liens from contracted out installers, price change, and many more so it made me scared. First company I met with was offering me Panasonic panels and had a better price than the rest, I was sold on the price and deal they were offering me, I was gonna sign with them. Next I had a zoom video conference with Conner Smith from Stellar, he didn't have much of a chance since I liked the first company already, after Conners zoom presentation I knew I had to get SunPower panels. Connors presentation plus many hours of research online proved SunPower panels are the best. I figured I'm only doing this once in 25 years so spend a little more and do it right and get the best so I signed with Stellar. I'm so happy I made that pick, it could not have gone any better, no complaints. Outstanding communication, finished the job way before the scheduled time, I still can't believe how awesome they are, they got permits, dealt with HOA and installed 29 panels in just over a month with no problems, so smooth, like as easy as ordering something on Amazon. Everyone there was extremely nice, and did an amazing job, great team.

  The install team did a remarkable job yesterday. They arrived exactly when they said they would, walked me through everything that was going to happen. I then went to work and they constantly informed us exactly what they were doing through out the day. They even made changes in my circuit breaker box that were not up to code. Their end of day clean up left my yard looking better then it did when I left for work. At first when I got home I thought they may have cancelled the install because it blends in with the house so well. I am very impressed, with Stellar and the constant communication during the project. The whole install 11 panels only took one day, I have seen other companies take weeks to installa similar sized ystem

  Stellar Solar did a terrific job from start to finish. The system works as designed. Everyone from Stellar was super responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with. My primary contact, Marc Cirelli was very responsive and kept me up to date. The install team was very professional and paid close attention to detail and made sure the job was done correctly.   We had a 42 panel system installed in Dec 2015 by a solar company that is now out of business. Our Solar Edge inverter recently failed and I contacted Stellar Solar for repairs. I had an initial appointment within 3-4 days and after a warranty replacement was received from Solar Edge, the system was back up and running. While we had several different technicians come out, they were all extremely professional, efficient, and courteous. I wish we had our original system installed by Stellar Solar.   I'm sure just like everyone else, when you are making a huge purchase you shop around. I got quotes from big companies to small companies, five total. Then my wife asked me if I called Kenny Rutherford over at Stellar, he was a referral from a friend. At this point in the process I already had an idea of what we were looking for, after a quick phone call we set up an appointment, Kenny stopped by talked to my wife and answered all the questions she had. I was told that we might need to upgrade our breaker box from other companies, Kenny snapped a pic and sent it off to his electrician, and he quickly confirmed that we would not need and upgrade. Music to my ears! Once we decided to move forward everything went smoothly. (except the city inspection cancelling on us once) I love a company that has a person in charge of all the details. One of the workers did put a small hole in our ceiling, i called and let them know, they has someone come out the next day to repair it. So far everything with the system has been running as advertised. I hope that if there ever is a problem with the system in the future, that they will be just as quick to jump in and fix it.

  I cannot say enough about Sunpower by Stellar Solar. After months of research online on solar panels and comparing makes/models and after getting consults from a total of 6 different installers, to include several of the most prominent in San Diego and even a few small mom/pop electricians. Stellar Solar was not the highest bid, nor the lowest, but I went with them for two reasons - #1 for everyone who has done any bit of research on panel quality and efficiency, SunPower is the best and #2 I got the best vibe from the no pressure consult by the sales manager Dave Gersz.

  Starting with our first meeting with Dave Gersz, I think the whole transaction from the meeting to turning on the system only took about a month. That included the permit and final inspections! And holidays! I doubt they can promise that everytime, because so much depends on the city, but Holy Cow! The best part of the experience was the customer service. My personally feeling is that customer service is the only significant difference in things like this, and I expect a lot. This company exceeded my high expectations! I received emails AND calls throughout the whole process, letting me know what was coming next. And then, it happened just as they said it would. Only faster! I have already told several friends, and I will continue to recommend Stellar Solar. What a great experience!

  After reviewing tons of information online, and having a few other companies visit my home to provide me with quotes, I chose Stellar Solar to install my panels. From the beginning, it was a smooth and easy process. We had great communication with the multiple points of contact from our initial sales rep to the engineers. I chose to also do an electrical panel upgrade which was well worth it since my house was built in 1955. The job was finished in one day, early, and looks great. The follow up was also amazing to ensure everything was running smoothly and we were able to read the production status through their app. I highly recommend going with this company. It was a little bit pricier, but well worth it. So far, so good. I will update my review after a couple of months if anything goes awry!

  I met with eleven solar companies over two years. Actually ten but I met with SunPower By Stellar Solar twice. I did so much research during which I learned it is a good idea to replace the roof paper under the tiles on the section(s) of the roof where the solar panels would be installed. That is unless your roof is new. So then I had to meet with roofers, augh, but I only met with three. The best price I received was $8k. Then I was ready to commit to this solar company. My representative is Tom Woods (760) 814-0602. When I told him his solar job would have to wait for the roofing company he advised his installers would take care of the roof job for half the price (that's $4k)! But wait it gets better. At the time this company was one of the few whose panels were black on black vs the eyesore of the silver grid on black panels. Next; during the installation process I had an "oh no" moment when I saw conduit running the entire length of my house-to those who don't know what conduit is, it is a shiny galvanized pipe that encapsulates all the wiring. I made a mental note to contact my painter when the job was done. HOWEVER not only did they paint the conduit but they paint matched by taking a piece off my electrical box and took it to the paint store! I waited a year to write this review to be happy to say I haven't paid for electricity yet. It takes a lot for me to do my "happy dance" but the day I got the clearance to flip the switch (literally) to solar power was one exception...and every month when I look at my electric bill which is a negative balance with credits. And yes I got to run my air conditioner last summer (think happy dance).

  Excellent all around! We've had a lot of contact with solar companies but waited to pull the trigger until we found the highest quality and most professional company we could. We were referred to Stellar Solar by a trusted friend and Dave G. was our point of contact. He understood what we wanted and made sure to explain all of the details. The entire process was fabulous! Dave was attentive to our design requests, including a week long pause in the schedule in order to move a couple things around on our property. The installers Luis and Victor went above and beyond our expectations by making the install and wiring look as clean as possible. I expected to have some problems, but nothing went wrong! Now, four months later, our panels are producing slightly more than they anticipated and I haven't had any issues. I wholeheartedly recommend Stellar Solar.

  We purchased our solar in April 2018 through Stellar after getting quotes from other companies. I worked with Kenny R. and he couldn't have been more knowledgeable or helpful throughout the entire process. The home my husband and I purchased is all electric so I was extremely concerned about our potential electric bills. Kenny put together a proposal for 19 Sunpower panels. His quote was less than the quote we'd received from Semper Solaris for a lower-end Sunpower panel. Once we'd decided to move forward with Stellar, Kenny helped finalize our financing and setup our installation. Our installation was setup quickly, the install team arrived on time and completed the job in one day as promised. They did an incredible job installing our panels and couldn't have been more courteous of us and our property. Stellar's team was in constant contact with me after the install providing me updates on the status of our system and when we could expect to receive permission to operate. We passed inspection and received our permission to operate in less time than I'd expected or even hoped. At this point, having our money and having completed the install you might think that the communication could have dwindled or been less of a priority. Absolutely not the case. Stellar and Kenny continued to call me to setup time to ensure our monitoring system was up and running and that I had training to use it. I was very impressed by their customer service as it's not common these days to do business with a company who truly seems to care about your satisfaction.

  Sun Power was the most efficient company that I have ever had the privilege to work with. In one day the whole system was installed and it was no easy matter. The communication all the way from the start to the finish was super fast and they were so helpful with all my technical questions. All the permits and approvals were taken care of really fast and I had do no nothing but watch the approvals appear on my e mail.   My experience with Stellar was a bit different than most. I was part of a huge class action suit against a solar panel mfg. company. Stellar got the contract and we started trying to set up a time for installation. Of course it happened to be the hottest part of a miserable summer and things got pushed back for a while. My wife dealt with Annie a few times and was very happy with the customer service. I finally spoke with Kent Harle and he was very knowledgeable and helpful and we set up an appointment. The boys that came out were quick and thorough and I want to especially thank Eddie for being extra conscientious about his work and my satisfaction. Thanks Stellar Solar, a lot!

  We had a fantastic experience with Stellar Solar. First of all, Dave Gersz is the man. He did a fantastic job consulting with us, explaining everything, estimating our system design and guiding us through the entire process. EVERYONE else we worked with (from system design, install, inspection, monitoring, etc.) was extremely professional, punctual, informed and friendly. I can't say enough good things about our entire experience. We have been operational for about two weeks now, and it is fun to check the website and app to see how much energy we are producing in real time.

  Great job by Stellar solar. I was told the installation would take 2 to 3 days but they finished in 1 day and I have clay tile roof. I interviewed 4 different companies and decided to go with Stellar because of the warranty and product quality. Kenny, the sales representative, did an incredible job at explaining the product and process. He was always available to answer my questions. I will recommend Kenny to my friends and family.   Stellar is just that, STELLAR! I HIGHLY recommend them. Check out the others, but I am confident saying you'll come to the same conclusion I did and choose Stellar. I'll explain below, but the bottom line with Stellar Solar is that everyone from the initial contact thru to the installation and ATO are professionals. The process could not have been easier. They are there for your benefit and will not oversell you a system that you may not need. Kenny R, our sales rep, provided a detailed, month by month, analysis and projections. He explained the benefits, and potential concerns, for various configurations. Kenny never pressured on one way or another.

Very professional and extremely willing to answer all my questions, of which i had many.   (I wanted to allow a little time to pass before writing this review. Our system was installed nearly 6 months ago.) There are plenty of shady companies out there trying to sell an overpriced system and pushing for a contract before they leave. We saw some of these firsthand and were a little disgruntled continuing to field proposals... But after a satisfied neighbor highly recommended using Stellar Solar, we were intrigued. After all, getting multiple proposals was the right thing to do and it was educational. What's one more bid...??

  Wonderful company! From the start they were on the ball they made the entire process very easy for me and my husband. I am actually a event coordinator and know what it takes to coordinate between many different people and services, Stellar Solar did an AMAZING job! They coordinated with SDG&E, the city, obtained the permit, and my homeowners association with very little input from us. There was one slight problem, they chipped my roof, I simply showed it to them and it was fixed before the next week's end.

  I had Stellar Solar install 12 270W panels and 12 Enphase micro-inverters. The installation process went very smoothly as planned. During the process, I interacted with 5 Stellar Solar people. They were all professional and their priority was always their customer, me. I'm very pleased with how the whole process went. Their estimate was also very reasonable.   We recently researched solar electric and got a few proposals and interviewed 3 contractors. Dave Gersz from Stellar was one of the 3. He was very knowledgeable and had a professional attitude. I would have been very comfortable going with Stellar: they have been doing solar for a long time and were selected as a Home Depot partner. They also have a A+ BBB rating. We decided on a different brand of PV panels and that was the main reason we ended up going with another company. When we told the non-selected companies that we went elsewhere, Dave was far more professional about not being the winning bidder than any of the others. That speaks well for his integrity and I'm guessing that reflects Stellar's attitude overall.
